Tucson-based Muralist

Joe Pagac is an Arizona-based muralist, fine artist and performance artist who has become a defining fixture of the downtown Tucson arts scene. He is widely recognized for his large-scale, whimsical public murals, fine art canvases and rotating live-performance paintings. He graduated from the University of Arizona art program with a degree in Visual Communications and Illustration before traveling the world to hone his style. His work prominently features local wildlife, desert plants and surreal imagery (such as a Gila monster on a sailing ship or a dinosaur riding a bike) to make communities smile.
