March 3rd: First Tuesday
Guest Speaker: Aruna N. Sarode
Natured-Inspired Artist

Aruna N. Sarode (often cited as Aruna Nitin Sarode) is a Chicago-based fine artist specializing in nature-inspired oil and acrylic paintings. She is also known for applying gold-leaf embellishments to her work.
Aruna's work focuses on capturing the natural beauty of landscapes, birds, flowers and water.
“All things beautiful fascinate me, be it nature or the human spirit. I find immense joy in the process of painting, starting from choosing a subject that tugs at my heart, composing, selection of color palette, mixing the colors, application of paint and fine tuning to capture the mood! I strive to capture the beauty around us and share it with my viewers. I work in oil, acrylic and watercolor mediums. I take advantage of the unique qualities of each medium and choose the medium that best compliments the subject.”
