Tucson Festival of Books: Check out the Seventh Annual FWA-sponsored Youth Artist/Illustrator Awards presentation on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019, 10 am to 11 am.  University of Arizona, Book Festival's Main Entertainment Stage

The Young Artist/Illustrator Competition is open to students across Arizona in preschool through high school. Students may use crayons, pencil, pastels, paint, colored pencils, charcoal or markers to create original artwork depicting Arizona’s history, diverse cultures, landscapes, architecture, flora and/or fauna.

Finalists in each of four age categories will be recognized at the above-mentioned special awards presentation featuring Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild and Arizona Daily Star's Editorial Cartoonist David Fitzsimmons.  In addition, all Artist/Illustrator finalists will be awarded an art supply gift card.
