Pat works with both brush and palette knife to create impressions of light and color. Snowbirds from Northern Minnesota for fourteen years, she and her husband recently made Arizona their full time home. Pat loves the expanded opportunity she now has to immerse herself in the ever-inspiring visual and cultural atmosphere of this area. A studio artist, she finds her inspirations on plein air painting trips, and in the rich culture and history she encounters in her volunteer work as a docent at the Mission San Xavier Del Bac in Tucson.
Some of Pat’s past awards include selection for SRAL Artists’Choice Blue Ribbon, American Women Artists National Exhibit, Oil Painters of America National Exhibit, Tubac Center of the Arts People’s Choice Award, Allied Artists of America National Exhibit, and Artists of Minnesota Best of Show Award.
Her work was published in “Painting Impressionist Color” by Lois Griffell and has been used nationally in greeting cards and publications.
Pat’s work appears in the Xanadu Gallery Art Catalogue, Scottsdale, AZ, and can be seen at Chiricahua Gallery Gallery, Rodeo, NM.
